Database Updates February 5th 2019

Releasing later today will be a few minor fixes to the sequencing sheet, based on some feedback there is now an option to add comments to your selected sequencing cell. This is to help you remember what you are using the cell for. You can also now type or paste the name you wish for your file into the Filename section. If copying from the Sequencing spreadsheet please note that your file name may change slightly. The web sequencing system calculates its replicates on its own, so any data regarding replicates will be lost if you copy the file name…

Database Updates January 28th 2019

There are a few more updates to the Database website this week. We have adjusted the Sequencing sheet to allow for the naming of multiple cells quickly. To do so simply fill out the form on the right side of the screen with your file information, then click on a cell to “Reserve” it, and finally click save and that cell will have your file name saved to it. For multiple cells that are for the same experiment then just click the new cell and hit save again, no need to fill out the form again unless you are changing…

Database Updates January 21st 2019

This month we’ve been working on a few new features for our database website, there is a prototype the new Sequencing sheet up and live. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. There are plans to implement multi-cell selections. There have also been some changes to viewing file information, this includes features like Top 100 Read, Combining Files and Downloading Files. To make these features more valuable there are now options to view or hide Nucleotide information, Peptide Sequences and Modifications.
